Save the Orangutan UK is a charitable organisation that cooperates closely with its affiliates Save the Orangutan Foundation and Save the Orangutan Sweden to save and protect the critcally endangered orangutan and its last remaining habitats. All three organisations are independent legal entities operating under the common name of Save the Orangutan. Save the Orangutan UK and its two affiliates focus its efforts on their common purpose: to save and protect the critically endangered orangutan and its last remaining habitats.

The daily administration and operation of Save the Orangutan, including Save the Orangutan UK and SE, is managed by the secretariat of Save the Orangutan Foundation based in Denmark.
